The Rimac Nevera R represents a significant evolution of its record-breaking predecessor, engineered to elevate cornering dynamics and straight-line acceleration. Featuring next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring, advanced braking systems, and a performance-optimized battery, the Nevera R delivers 2,107 hp and achieves 300 km/h (186 mph) in an astonishing 8.66 seconds, surpassing even the original Nevera’s already impressive straight-line speed.
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, stated, “When we developed the Nevera, an important part of the brief was that it should be a Grand Tourer. We made sure it was spacious, comfortable and finely balanced between thrilling and accessible. Ultimately what we achieved struck that balance perfectly; a high-performance record-breaking car that could set new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and be driven comfortably thousands of miles across continents. It was a watershed moment in automotive performance; the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, single-handedly leading a new generation. But we’re relentlessly tweaking to customers’ desires, and many were looking for a car that really emphasized the Nevera’s cornering ability, using all the advanced technology on-board. We responded with the Nevera R: all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but lighter, faster and more focused.”
Rimac designers and engineers conducted a thorough assessment of the Nevera’s characteristics, re-engineering key elements to further position the R within the hyper sports car segment. The Nevera R distinguishes itself with more focused driving dynamics, an enhanced performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and more advanced braking capabilities. Its visual identity has been meticulously crafted to reflect its performance-driven nature, refined through sophisticated design principles.
Characterized by clean surfaces and an emphasis on perfect proportions, the Nevera R presents a lower, sleeker profile with a forward-thrusting stance, complemented by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed to be both striking and technically precise, with horizontal lines enhancing aerodynamic efficiency, stance, and width. This integration of aerodynamic function and aesthetic appeal was achieved through close collaboration between designers and engineers, seamlessly blending sensual surfacing with precise graphic elements. The side profile exhibits a harmonious balance of body color and exposed carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless and dynamic silhouette. The wheels feature new designs with extended spokes to accentuate their size and distinct color splits. A prominent fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a new, larger diffuser, collectively increase downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, the Nevera R benefits from a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second improvement in lap times around the Nardo Handling Track. This synergy of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce enables the Nevera R to redefine the boundaries of vehicle dynamics. Every component has been meticulously re-engineered with an agility and handling-focused design philosophy.
The Nevera R delivers augmented performance with a heightened emphasis on driver feedback. It provides sharper, more precise cornering capabilities, attributed to the recalibrated next-generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, optimized to exploit the full potential of its high-performance tires. Increased downforce contributes to superior stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for driving exhilaration on dynamic roads and occasional track excursions. The traction control system has been revised to expand the operational envelope of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in adverse wet conditions. The drift mode has been adjusted to complement the new tire characteristics, and the steering system has been refined to offer a more immediate response and crisper feedback to the driver.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R utilizes cutting-edge technology to achieve greater power and efficiency within a lighter architecture. With a formidable 2,107 hp at its disposal, it surpasses the straight-line performance of the record-holding Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes, constructed from carbon ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, provide enhanced stopping power, superior cooling efficiency, and increased durability under extreme usage conditions.

Launched in Nebula Green, the Nevera R embodies a visual progression of Rimac’s design narrative, translating the Lightning Green accents from the Time Attack edition into a sophisticated new color palette for both the exterior and interior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior of the Nevera has been further refined with additional color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the main dashboard structure and center console trims, can be specified to match the exterior paint or personalized according to customer preferences.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
