The Rimac Nevera R represents a significant evolution of the record-breaking Nevera, engineered for enhanced cornering prowess while maintaining and exceeding its predecessor’s straight-line performance. Equipped with the next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring, advanced braking systems, and a performance-oriented battery, the Nevera R delivers an astonishing 2,107 hp. This configuration enables it to achieve remarkable agility in corners and accelerate from 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in just 8.66 seconds, surpassing the already record-holding Nevera.
Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO of Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology, stated, “When we developed the Nevera, an important part of the brief was that it should be a Grand Tourer. We made sure it was spacious, comfortable and finely balanced between thrilling and accessible. Ultimately what we achieved struck that balance perfectly; a high-performance record-breaking car that could set new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and be driven comfortably thousands of miles across continents. It was a watershed moment in automotive performance; the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, single-handedly leading a new generation. But we’re relentlessly tweaking to customers’ desires, and many were looking for a car that really emphasized the Nevera’s cornering ability, using all the advanced technology on-board. We responded with the Nevera R: all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but lighter, faster and more focused.”
Rimac designers and engineers meticulously analyzed the Nevera’s characteristics and re-engineered key elements to position the Nevera R firmly in the hyper sports car segment. Featuring more focused driving dynamics, an optimized performance battery, increased power output, and enhanced braking capabilities, the Nevera R also boasts a distinctive visual identity driven by performance and refined by design.
The Nevera R’s design prioritizes clean surfaces and perfect proportions, projecting a lower, sleeker silhouette with a forward-thrusting stance, complemented by 21-inch rear wheels and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is engineered for both aesthetic impact and aerodynamic efficiency, with horizontal lines emphasizing its stance and width. This design is a product of close collaboration between designers and engineers, integrating sensual surfacing with precise graphics into the front clam. The side profile exhibits a balanced interplay of body color and carbon fiber, contributing to a timeless, dynamic aesthetic. The redesigned wheels feature extended spokes to accentuate their size and incorporate distinct color splits. The substantial fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a new, larger diffuser, increases downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. The adoption of new Michelin Cup 2 tires reduces overall understeer by 10%, elevates lateral grip by 5%, and cuts the lap time around the Nardo Handling Track by 3.8 seconds. This combination of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce equips the Nevera R to redefine the limits of automotive dynamics. Every component has been re-engineered with an emphasis on agility and handling, reflecting a performance-driven design philosophy.
The Nevera R delivers amplified performance with an even greater emphasis on driver engagement. Its sharper, more precise cornering capabilities are facilitated by the re-tuned next-generation All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system, which maximizes the potential of the high-performance tires. Augmented downforce contributes to superior stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for exhilarating driving on winding roads and occasional track excursions. The traction control system has been revised to expand the R-AWTV’s capabilities, ensuring predictable handling even in wet conditions. Drift mode has been recalibrated for the new tires, and the steering system has been refined to provide a more immediate response and crisper feedback to the driver.
Constructed around the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R integrates advanced technology to deliver increased power and efficiency within a new, lighter architecture. With an available 2,107 hp, it achieves superior acceleration compared to the previous record-holding Nevera. The new EVO2 brakes, featuring carbon ceramic discs with a silicone matrix layer, ensure augmented stopping performance, improved cooling, and enhanced durability under demanding conditions.

Launched in Nebula Green, the Nevera R represents a visual progression of the Rimac narrative, translating the “Lightning Green” accents of the Time Attack edition into a new color scheme for both the interior and exterior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior has been enhanced with expanded color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the dashboard structure and center console accents, can be matched to the exterior color or personalized according to customer preference.
The production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
