The Nevera R represents an evolution of hypercar performance, engineered to prioritize superior cornering dynamics while amplifying straight-line acceleration beyond its record-breaking predecessor. Equipped with next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring, advanced braking systems, and a performance-optimized battery, the Nevera R delivers 2,107 horsepower. This configuration enables it to achieve 0-300 km/h (186 mph) in a remarkable 8.66 seconds.
“When we initially developed the Nevera, a core objective was to create a Grand Tourer that balanced exhilarating performance with accessibility and comfort. We successfully achieved this, resulting in a high-performance vehicle capable of setting new benchmarks at the Nรผrburgring Nordschleife and undertaking long-distance journeys. The Nevera marked a significant advancement in automotive performance, establishing the world’s first production all-electric hypercar and initiating a new era of electric mobility. However, our commitment to customer desires led us to refine the Nevera further, with many expressing a preference for a vehicle that amplifies its cornering capabilities through its advanced technology. The Nevera R is our response: it retains the core DNA of the record-breaking Nevera but is engineered to be lighter, faster, and more focused,” stated Mate Rimac, Founder and President of the Rimac Group, CEO of Bugatti Rimac and Rimac Technology.
Rimac designers and engineers conducted a comprehensive review of the Nevera’s attributes, re-engineering key components to elevate it into the hyper sports car segment. Featuring more focused driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power output, and advanced braking systems, the Nevera R also boasts a distinct visual identity driven by performance and refined by design.
Characterized by clean surfaces and meticulously crafted proportions, the Nevera R presents a lower, sleeker profile with a forward-thrusting stance, accentuated by 21-inch rear and 20-inch front wheels. The front fascia is designed for both visual impact and aerodynamic efficiency, with horizontal lines emphasizing its stance and width. This design resulted from close collaboration between designers and engineers, seamlessly integrating fluid surfacing with precise graphic elements into the front clam. The side profile of the Nevera R exhibits a harmonious blend of body color and carbon fiber, contributing to its timeless and dynamic appearance. The redesigned wheels feature extended spokes to emphasize their size, complemented by distinct color splits. A prominent rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aerodynamic package including a new, larger diffuser, increases downforce by 15% and aerodynamic efficiency by 10%. Equipped with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, the Nevera R achieves a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second improvement in lap times around the Nardo Handling Track. This combination of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce allows the Nevera R to redefine the limits of dynamic performance. Every element has been re-engineered with an emphasis on agility and handling, reflecting a performance-driven design philosophy.
The Nevera R delivers enhanced performance with a heightened focus on driver feedback. It offers sharper and more precise cornering capabilities, facilitated by the re-tuned R-AWTV (Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring) system, optimized to maximize the potential of its high-performance tires. Increased downforce contributes to greater stability and lateral performance, setting a new standard for driving engagement on challenging roads and occasional track use. The traction control system has been revised to broaden the capabilities of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in wet conditions. The drift mode has been recalibrated for compatibility with the new tires, and the steering system has been refined for a more immediate response and crisper feedback to the driver.
Utilizing the next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, the Nevera R integrates cutting-edge technology to deliver increased power and efficiency within a lighter package. With 2,107 horsepower on tap, it surpasses the performance of the record-breaking Nevera. New EVO2 brakes, constructed from carbon-ceramic with a silicone matrix layer, ensure superior stopping performance, thermal management, and durability under demanding usage.

The Nevera R, launched in Nebula Green, represents a visual progression of the Rimac marque, translating the “Lightning Green” accents of the Time Attack model into a refined palette for both the exterior and interior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior of the Nevera has been enhanced with additional color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, such as the main dashboard structure and center console trims, can be specified to match the exterior color or be personalized according to customer preference.
Production of the Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
