Building upon the record-breaking performance and GT credentials of the original, the Nevera R prioritizes agility and track-oriented capability, while retaining the inherent sophistication of the production all-electric hypercar.

We made sure it was spacious, comfortable and finely balanced between thrilling and accessible. Ultimately what we achieved struck that balance perfectly; a high-performance record-breaking car that could set new benchmarks at the Nürburgring Nordschleife and be driven comfortably thousands of miles across continents. It was a watershed moment in automotive performance; the world’s first production all-electric hypercar, single-handedly leading a new generation. But we’re relentlessly tweaking to customers’ desires, and many were looking for a car that really emphasized the Nevera’s cornering ability, using all the advanced technology on-board. We responded with the Nevera R: all the DNA of the record-breaking Nevera, but lighter, faster and more focused.”
Rimac designers and engineers have meticulously re-engineered key elements of the Nevera to elevate its hyper sports car stature. Enhanced driving dynamics, a performance-oriented battery, increased power output of 2,107 hp, and advanced braking systems are central to the Nevera R’s enhanced capabilities. This performance focus is visually underscored by a refined aesthetic, characterized by clean surfacing and optimized proportions that convey a lower, sleeker, and more assertive stance, further accentuated by a staggered wheel setup of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
Aerodynamic efficiency and visual impact are harmoniously integrated in the front fascia through horizontal lines and precise graphics, a testament to close designer-engineer collaboration. The side profile exhibits a dynamic and timeless silhouette, balanced by the interplay of body color and carbon fiber elements. New wheel designs with extended spokes enhance their visual presence, complemented by distinct color splits. A prominent fixed rear wing, coupled with an aggressive aero package featuring a larger diffuser, contributes to a 15% increase in downforce and a 10% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency. These enhancements, combined with new Michelin Cup 2 tires, result in a 10% reduction in total understeer, a 5% increase in lateral grip, and a 3.8-second reduction in lap time around the Nardo Handling Track. This synergy of negative camber, enhanced tire grip, and increased downforce enables the Nevera R to push the boundaries of vehicle dynamics. Every component has been meticulously re-engineered with an emphasis on agility and handling.
The Nevera R delivers amplified performance with a heightened focus on driver feedback. The next-generation Rimac All-Wheel Torque Vectoring (R-AWTV) system has been recalibrated to maximize the potential of the high-performance tires, resulting in sharper and more precise cornering. Increased downforce enhances stability and lateral performance, establishing a new benchmark for dynamic driving on challenging roads and occasional track use. The traction control system has been revised to augment the capabilities of the R-AWTV, ensuring predictable handling even in adverse conditions. Drift mode has been optimized for the new tire specifications, and the steering system has been refined for a more immediate and crisp response.
The Nevera R utilizes a next-generation 108kWh Rimac battery pack, incorporating cutting-edge technology for enhanced power delivery and efficiency within a lighter architecture. With a formidable 2,107 hp, it surpasses the acceleration capabilities of the record-breaking Nevera. The vehicle is equipped with new EVO2 brakes, featuring carbon ceramic rotors with a silicone matrix layer for superior stopping power, enhanced cooling, and increased durability under demanding usage.

Initially presented in Nebula Green, the Nevera R embodies a visual progression of the Rimac design language, translating the “Time Attack” model’s Lightning Green accents into a sophisticated new color palette for both exterior and interior. The driver-centric, highly customizable interior has been enhanced with expanded color and trim options. Painted carbon fiber elements, including the dashboard structure and center console trim, can be specified to match the exterior hue or be personalized to the customer’s preference.
Production of the Rimac Nevera R will be strictly limited to 40 units globally.
